Sevastova through to 3rd round of Charleston Premier

Print versionOn Wednesday, Latvia's second-best ranked lady tennis player Anastasija Sevastova defeated the United States' Caroline Dolehide 7-5, 6-7 (5:7), 6-1 in the second round of the Charleston Premier series tennis tournament, informs LETA/BNS.
At the moment, Sevastova is ranked 16th in the WTA rankings, while Dolehide is ranked 142nd.
Sevastova has earned 55 WTA ranking points for advancing to the third round of the Charleston Premier, where she will play Australia's Ashleigh Barty, who is currently ranked 18th in the world.
