Starting October 28, through October 30, the international Riga Fashion Week is being held in the capital of Latvia, as the event's coordinator Tatjana Balva informed LETA.

The Baltic Fashion Federation-organized Riga Fashion Week is an opportunity to see spring/summer 2010 pret-a-porter collections from the leading Baltic designers and world-wide famous brands.

Riga Fashion Week will feature fashion shows, presentations and parties.

One of the principal focuses of this year's event will be on spring/summer 2010 collections by established Russian and Ukrainian fashion designers.

Over the five year that the biannual event is held in Riga, Riga Fashion Week has served as a great launching pad for several Baltic designers who now bring make the Baltic fashion known abroad.
