WWII German aviation bomb weighing 150kg found in Riga

Print versionYesterday, the Home Guard's 54th Unexploded Munitions Company was called out to the Daugava River island of Maza Vejzaksala in Riga, where a German aviation bomb from World War II (WWII) weighing over 150 kilograms was found.
The bomb is currently being transported to the Adazi Army base, where it will be detonated, LETA was informed by Home Guard spokeswoman Sergeant Kristiana Strale.
