Exotic spring has come to Riga Circus – the new show, "Exotic Spring", features inimitable acrobats, exotic animals and brand-new clown performances. Meet bears and chimpanzees, tightrope walkers and brave dzhigits at Riga Circus from March to May 8, informs liveriga.com.

The programme "Exotic Spring" features bear performances, titled "Russian Troika", supervised by the renowned animal trainer Yuri Alexandrov. Alexandrov and his bears have received numerous awards at all kinds of international circus festivals in the world, including the prestigious International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo in Monaco.

Another programme highlight is chimpanzee acts from Vladimir Saprikin, noted for his unconventional training methods and ability to teach chimpanzees to perform very complex tricks.

One of the most memorable "Exotic Spring" acts is the "Acrobats on the Track". At the International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo this performance was dubbed a "21st century act". Dazzling pirouettes in the air, leaps and other impressive acrobatic feats demonstrate the limits of strength and agility of the human body.

Horseback dzhigits from Ossetia will display highly complex and dangerous horse riding stunts that will take the audience's breath away.

Flying trapeze artist from Moscow Yulia Makayeva will perform breathtaking trapeze and other aerial acts.

Football fans will be pleased to see the performance of the young and talented Mikhail Yermakov who juggles real footballs, whereas cycling enthusiasts will be astonished to see Alexander Vitkovskis' stunts on a classic bicycle. Furthermore, Riga circus dancers will perform new dances choreographed specifically for the "Exotic Spring" programme, and Riga Circus orchestra – new compositions.

Finally, a pair of clowns from America, Bella & Alex or Duo Club-House will make sure that the audience has a good laugh between the performances. The pair have worked in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and other major cities of the United States for many years.
