Lithuania's Christmas tree of plastic bottles in Guinness World Records

A 16 metres high emerald green Christmas tree which was placed in Kaunas City Hall for the last year's Christmas season has been recognized as the world's tallest sculpture of plastic bottles and earned a spot in the Guinness World Records, writes LETA/ELTA.
The actual size of the "tree" reaches 16 metres with a 2 metres extension from a star on the top of it. The sculpture was made of 42,000 plastic bottles welded with the so called zippers.
