Newborn Riga triplets receive 3,000 lats from city council

Print versionMargarita Kovalova and her all-boys triplets, born May 3, were congratulated by Riga Mayor Nils Usakovs yesterday.
He presented to the family a cash benefit in the amount of LVL 3,000, and each boy received a silver coin, informed LETA.
On February 2, the capital's first triplets this year - all girls - were born to the Cerpinskis', and they too received a LVL 3,000 benefit from the city council.
Three Riga families had triplets in 2011.
