Print versionVytautas Norkunas, judge of Panevezys Regional Administrative Court, and his wife Rita drowned at the Mediterranean Sea, while they were on a holiday trip to Crete. The daily Respublika writes that details of the tragedy are not clear yet.
News about tragically ended holidays of 56 years old Vytautas Norkunas family in Crete reached workers of Panevezys court on Wednesday, when a travel agency started to search for relatives of the judge and his wife, informs ELTA.
Rimgaudas Losys, adviser to the Lithuanian ambassador in Greece, confirmed that the prosecution office of Heraclion reported about the death of the couple.
Experts conclude that they drowned.
