Energy Ministry: there are no intentions to privatize Klaipedos Nafta
Petras Vaida, BC, Vilnius, 16.09.2009.Print version
The Securities Commission of Lithuania has ordered to remove the status of the company Klaipedos Nafta as a monitored company, because the Energy Ministry has officially informed that "there are no intentions to privatize Klaipedos Nafta at the moment and such plans will not evolve in the nearest future".
This information has been reported via the information system of Vilnius stock exchange NASDAQ OMX Vilnius.
The stock exchange granted the monitored company status to Klaipedos Nafta in the beginning of January this year. Such decision of the stock exchange's Market Operations Department was determined by possible privatization of Klaipedos Nafta and as a result of that growth of investors' attention to the company's shares, informs ELTA/LETA.
