In selecting the objects, sectors improving the quality of public services were prioritised. Mostly the State will renovate schools, museums, theatres, hospitals, social welfare institutions and border crossing points.
Minister of environment Jaanus Tamkivi noted that in addition to the buildings included in the plans, local government buildings are also to be renovated. The renovation works will be organised by the State Real Estate Company along with the owners of the renovated buildings and the Ministry of Finance will be in charge of implementing the projects.
