PKN ORLEN opens liquidation process for Raf – Bit

Polish oil company which also manages activities of oil refinery ORLEN Lietuve in Lithuania – Polski Koncern Naftowy ORLEN S.A. (PKN ORLEN) informed that on January 7, 2014, the motion regarding the opening of the liquidation proceedings for Raf – Bit Sp. z o.o. (Raf – Bit) was submitted in the register court in Rzeszow, the company said in a statement, cites LETA.

The decision regarding the liquidation was made by Rafineria Nafty Jedlicze S.A., as the sole shareholder of Raf – Bit. On December 31, 2013, the Extraordinary General Meeting of Raf – Bit adopted a resolution regarding the dissolution of Raf – Bit and opening of liquidation on December 31, 2013, as well as appointing of Mr Janusz Kapała as the liquidator of Raf – Bit.

 

Raf – Bit was established in 2002 as a result of restructuring of Rafineria Nafty Jedlicze S.A. by separating IT organizational area. The purpose of the Raf – Bit was providing of IT services.

 

PKN ORLEN owns 100% of the registered capital of Rafineria Nafty Jedlicze S.A.
