Latvian entrepreneurs will take part in Norwegian construction exhibition Norsk Hytteliv

Starting today, through April 27, the largest specialized home (summer cottage) exhibition in Norway Norsk Hytteliv takes place in Oslo, with 12 Latvian enterprises participating, as LETA was informed by Foreign Ministry's information and public relations department.

The exhibition is a popular meeting, contact exchange and trade venue for consumers, builders and professionals of the field. Latvian entrepreneurs, in cooperation with the Latvian Investment and Development Agency (LIDA), as well as individually, are participating with the aim to develop their business or to enter the Norwegian market.

 

Meeting of the Latvian participants' delegation with the Ambassador of Latvia in Norway Maris Klisans will take place in Latvia's Embassy in Oslo today. The meeting will be followed by a workshop on Latvian and Norwegian construction markets, eight Norwegian construction and real estate development enterprises have confirmed their participation. Director of the LIDA agency in Oslo Dina Grube will conduct the event.

 

In the exhibition, along with the ready made wooden houses, building constructions and garden huts, Latvian entrepreneurs will also offer such production as windows, doors, decoration materials, flooring and paneling, decorations, garden and summer cottage indoor furniture.

 

In 2007 around 20,000 people visited the exhibition.
