H1 net profit of Estonias Bigbank in Lithuania soars 5 times to EUR 2.38 mln y/y

Print versionThe Lithuanian branch of Estonia's consumer loan bank Bigbank netted a profit of 2.38 mln euros in the first half of 2016, up by a factor of more than 5 times y-o-y, reports LETA.

Assets of the branch soared by nearly 56% to 71.2 mln euros in January-June this year, as compared with 2015.
The branch's loan portfolio rose by 59% year-on-year to 68.8 mln euros, with consumer loans growing by 62% to 52 mln euros and business loans by 54% to 17 mln euros.
The branch provides consumer loans, business loans and leasing services.
