Venture capital fund Baltcap announces new partners

The private equity and venture capital firm Baltcap on Monday announced the promotion of four long term team members – Kristjan Kalda, Oliver Kullman, Martins Jaunarajs and Kornelijus Celutka – to partner.

Kalda and Kullman are based in the Baltcap office in Tallinn, Estonia. Kalda has been responsible for a number of successful investments including the gas distribution and trading company Energate, wind farm developer Tuuleenergia, aircraft maintenance provider Magnetic MRO and financial process automation company Fitek, Baltcap said.


Speaking of Kullman, Baltcap noted his role in healthcare investments, including the clinical laboratory Quattromed,exited to Synlab in 2013, and current investments in dental care chain Unimed and occupational healthcare provider Qvalitas, as well as his overseeing the digital media agency FCR Media.


Jaunarajs is based in the Baltcap office in Riga, Latvia. He has led Baltcap's investments in the concrete floor specialist Primekss and software developer Clusterpoint, among others.


Celutka is based in Baltcap's office in Vilnius, Lithuania. He has been responsible for Baltcap's investments in gym chain Impuls, private healthcare service provider InMedica, coffee shop chain Coffee Inn and others.
