Global Finance: SEB bank leader among internet banks in Lithuania in 2009

Print versionThe international business and finance market journal Global Finance ranked the SEB bank the best bank providing internet banking services in Lithuania for already four years in a row. In 2009 Global Finance also recognized the SEB bank the leader in the category of Best Corporate/Institutional Internet Banks in Lithuania.

As every year, the journal evaluated nine indicators of the quality of internet banking services of Middle and Eastern European countries, informs ELTA/LETA.
At the end of June this year, there were 855,000 clients using internet banking services of the SEB bank, an increase of 12% year-on-year.
Winning banks were selected based on the following criteria: strength of strategy for attracting and servicing online customers, success in getting clients to use web offerings, growth of online customers, breadth of product offerings, evidence of tangible benefits gained from Internet initiatives, and web site design and functionality.
