SoDra to shrink budget deficit by 5% in 2012

In 2012, Lithuania's State Social Insurance Fund Board (SoDra) is predicted to cut the budget shortfall by 5% to LTL 2.71 billion (EUR 0.785 billion).

On Friday, the Government approved of SoDra's draft budget for 2012 which projects revenues of LTL 11.9 billion (EUR 3.4 billion). SoDra's total expenditure is forecasted to reach nearly LTL 14 billion (EUR 4.05 billion), reports LETA/ELTA.
The SoDra draft budget includes allocations to the restoration of reduced old-age and disability pensions, working pensioners and settlement of arrears for the pensioners who worked in 1995-2002.
