Latvijas Tilti to perform quay upgrade in Klaipeda Seaport

Latvijas Tilti bridge and road construction company has won a procurement by the Klaipeda State Seaport Authority on reconstruction of four quays in Klaipeda port. The total sum of the construction works is EUR 9.88 million, the company’s statement to Nasdaq Riga stock exchange suggests, cites LETA/BNS.

The offer of Latvijas Tilti has been admitted as the lowest one and amounts to EUR 9.88 million, including VAT.

 

The procurement agreement with Latvijas Tilti will be signed not earlier than 15 days after the notification of the decision to draw up the agreement is sent, starting from February 18, 2016.

More information about the provisions of the agreement will be provided after the conclusion of the procurement agreement.

 

In the first nine months of 2015, Latvijas Tilti generated EUR 10.44 million in turnover or by 55.7 percent less than during the nine-month period in 2014, and its profit shrank multiple times to EUR 4,647 euros.

 

In 2014 the company generated EUR 31.564 million of sales, down 21.9 percent year-on-year, while its profic shrank six times to EUR 20,591.

 

Latvijas Tilti, established in 1942, builds and repairs bridges as well as manufactures and installs metal structures. It is part of the Latvijas Novitates Komplekss (LNK)group which holds an 86.69 stake in the company. Latvijas Tilti is quoted on the Secondary List of the Nasdaq Riga stock exchange.
