The board chairman of Lindaliini
AS, Enn Rahula, refused to be
specific on August 23rd, saying that reaching the necessary agreements takes
time.
The company said in its annual report for 2016 that it intends to acquire a
fast boat equal by specifications to the Merilin.
Lindaliini AS has been using the Lindaline Express trade mark since 1997. It takes
the fast boat Karolin used by Lindaliini
AS to serve the Tallinn-Helsinki route 100 minutes to complete the journey
between the two capitals.
Lindaliini AS finished 2016 with a profit of 1.9 million euros, which resulted
from an upward revaluation of assets and lower fuel prices.
