Estonian producers' representatives taking part in the food fair noted that Estonian food, especially meat, fish, butter and vodka is again welcome on the vast Russian market.

"Estonian food stends for quality," as a Russian food trader said.

Valdur Noormägi, Head of Estonian Fish Association, noted that Estonia is a big player on the Russian fish market, informs LETA.

"For instance, one Estonia company has a very large plant in Moscow for packing shrimps that its vessels catch off the Canadian coast," he pointed out.

A spirits producer of Estonia – Liviko exports Viru Valge vodka to Russia.

"It sounds like taking wood to the forest, but we hope that there will be a synergy between Old Tallinn liqueur and Viru Valge. Old Tallinn is very well known in Russia and belongs to the top ten liqueurs in sales. We are now trying to link another strong brand with the success of Old Tallinn," said Neeme Naris, export manager of Liviko.
