Grindeks profit grew by 97.2% in 2010

The report indicates that Grindeks net profit in 2010 was LVL 7.1 million, which is LVL 3.5 million more than in 2009. The company's turnover last year was LVL 65.1 million, which is 11.5 million more than in 2009, writes LETA.
During the reporting period, Grindeks products were exported to 50 countries worldwide for LVL 61.7 million in total – a 21.5% or LVL 10.9 million increase compared to 2009.
Last year, Grindeks sold LVL 57.7 million worth of pharmaceuticals, which is 19.7% or LVL 9.5 million more than in 2009.
In 2010, “Grindeks'” export volume to its main markets – Russia, other C.I.S. countries and Georgia – stood at LVL 50.2 million, which is LVL 8.3 million or 19.8% more than in 2009. In turn, the company's export to the Baltic States and other European countries reached LVL 7.5 million – a 19% or 1.2 million increase compared to 2009.
Last year, exports of active pharmaceutical ingredients reached LVL 7.4 million, which is LVL 2 million or 37% more than in 2009.
Grindeks shares are listed on the Official List of "NASDAQ OMX Riga".
