Rigas kugu buvetava turns over LVL 9.7 mln in Q1

The joint-stock company Rigas kugu buvetava (Riga Shipyard, RKB) posted LVL 9,701,718 in turnover in the first quarter of 2012, 154.7% more than in the corresponding period in 2011, according to the company's financial report submitted to NASDAQ OMX Riga.

In the first quarter of 2011, RKB achieved LVL 3,808,904 in turnover.

 

The company's losses amounted to LVL 454,767 in this first three months of 2012, compared to LVL 464,793 in losses in the respective period in 2011, writes LETA.

 

In 2011, the company's net turnover reached LVL 98.6 million, more than a three-fold increase on 2010.

 

RKB's turnover from shipbuilding comprised LVL 86.8 million last year, from ship repairs – LVL 11.6 million. In 2010, the company's turnover stood at LVL 31.17 million, including LVL 18.7 million from shipbuilding and LVL 12.36 million from ship repairs.

 

RKB's gross profit reached LVL 3.63 million in 2011, net profit – LVL 53,036. In 2010, the company's gross profit constituted LVL 755,814, net profit – LVL 159,519.
