Estonian VKG has been increasing its sales revenue and profits for three years in a row

Viru Keemia Group (VKG) has been increasing its sales revenue and profits for three years in a row, writes LETA/Postimees Online.
The largest processor of oil shale in Estonia that exports more than half of its production output to the European Union earned nearly 30 million euros in profits last year.
This is ten million euros more than in 2010.
VKG’s sales revenue amounted to 183.4 million euros in 2011.
The enterprise processed 2.4 million tonnes of oil shale end employed two thousand persons. Majority of the products of VKG are shale oils and majority of its output is exported to the European Union – in 2011, exports to the EU amounted to 61.1 million euros.
In the course of the past 8 years, VKG has invested 64 million euros into the environment.
