Print versionThe British newspaper ''The Guardian" lists the Latvian town of Sigulda and its Turaida Castle as this week's best autumn destinations, informs LETA.

"An hour from Riga is the Gauja Valley, a spectacularly beautiful sight when the trees have turned red and gold. From the picturesque town of Sigulda, with its white Lutheran church, head through the valley to the red brick fairytale Turaida Castle: its battlements offer a breathtaking view. A cable car ride will complete your immersion in Latvia's autumn color," writes the newspaper.
