In Latvia TV3 remains most popular TV channel

Print versionFirst Baltic Channel (Perviy Baltiskiy Kanal, PBK) has returned to the top 3 most viewed TV channels in Latvia in July, while LTV7 rating have suffered a major decline, informs NOZARE.LV/LETA reffering to data provided by TNS.

Among the most viewed channels in July, TV3 was the most popular with 10.3% of the total time audiences spent at the TV. The second most viewed channel in July was LNT - 9.6%, while PBK was in third place - 9.1%.
LTV1 has dropped to fourth place with 8.6%, sharing it with NTV Mir Latvija.
TV5 is in fifth place with 5.5%, followed by 3+ with 4.5%, REN Baltija - 4.4% , RTR Planeta Baltija - 4.1%, LTV7 - 3.8%, and TV6 - 2.7%.
The most popular TV show in July was the Football World Cup. The game between Argentina and Germany was watched by 9.3% or 186,400 residents of Latvia.
The average time viewers spent watching television in July was 4 hours and 37 minutes a day, which is 10 minutes less than in June.
