Third Subway restaurant in Latvia to open in Vecriga

He did not reveal how much money was invested into the new restaurant, except that the amount exceeded EUR 100,000.
The new Subway restaurant will open on 11a Grecinieku Street in Old Town Riga.
The opening ceremony will be on September 4, at 10 a.m., Liberts added.
Over the past two years, Subway has been opening about 500 new restaurants in Europe annually. Next year, Subway is planning to open 800 to 1,000 new restaurants in Europe.
The sandwich chain currently has 4,018 fast-food restaurants in Europe, and almost 40,000 worldwide. Subway turnover in Europe increased 18% in 2012, amounting to USD 1.57 billion.
Subway is one of the healthiest fast food concepts, with every sandwich made to order. Bread is baked in every Subway restaurant so freshness is the standard.
As reported, the first Subway fast-food restaurant was opened in Riga on June 27.
