Albinas Strumyla, spokesman of Klaipeda police, told ELTA that the father and daughter still were at the airport at the moment. The police are to make a decision on the way and time to transport them to Lithuania.
Klaipeda police launched a pre-trial investigation on the kidnap of Luisa.
Inga Rinau, Luisa"s mother, appealed to the police on Monday afternoon. The woman informed the police that her ex-husband had kidnapped her daughter. An international search for the child was immediately announced.
As reported, Inga and Michael Rinau married in Germany in July 2003. Luisa was born in January 2005, several months later they divorced. Three years later, Rinau returned to Klaipeda with her daughter and older son.
In August 2006, the first court hearing took place in Germany, where temporal patronage over the daughter was given to her father and a legal fight over little Luisa started.
Inga Rinau fully lost this fight on August 25 this year, when it was decided after a court marathon that the girl has to live with her father in Germany.
In line with the ruling of Oranienburg Court, the girl has to live with her father, yet Michael has to create all conditions for Luisa"s mother to see her daughter, pay for her trips from Lithuania to Germany and back.
