Search for Michael Rinau, who had taken away his minor daughter to Germany, to be terminated

Klaipeda city local court abolished the detention imposed on German citizen Michael Rinau. Soon the European arrest warrant to the man, who had taken away his minor daughter to Germany, should also be cancelled.

Klaipeda city local court permitted to detain Rinau on October 21. The German was accused of arbitrariness and child"s kidnapping. However, the court decided that the detention was imposed on Rinau without sufficient grounds, reports ELTA.

 

According to Aurelija Juodyte, spokeswoman for the General Prosecutor"s Office, prosecutors will decide on the European arrest warrant in the nearest future.

 

In line with the ruling of Oranienburg Court, the girl has to live with her father, yet Michael has to create all conditions for Luisa"s mother to see her daughter, pay for her trips from Lithuania to Germany and back.
