Number of bankruptcies in Estonia drops by 15% in January-October

Print versionIn the first 10 months of the year 2015, the number of Esrtonian companies that have gone bankrupt has decreased by 15% on year to 119 companies, 107 of which were private limited companies and 12 public limited companies, informs LETA/BNS.

In the first 10 months of 2014, a total of 140 companies went bankrupt and during the whole year the number totaled 164.
In 2015, the biggest number of bankruptcies were declared in April and May, data of the Center of Registers and Information Systems show.
The number of bankruptcies has been declining in Estonia for the past couple of years.
