In its final ruling, Lithuania's Supreme Administrative Court on Monday
found that G4S Lietuva had committed
offenses, overruling its plea.
At the end of 2012, the Competition Council imposed an aggregate fine of
16.5 million euros for and G4S Lietuva
after finding that G4S actions in a large share of the market led to restricted
competition, leaving competitors with merely 15% of the market and bank clients
unable Swedbank, DNB, SEB to choose a
different provider of services.
The biggest fine was then imposed on SEB
(EUR 7.2 mln), while Swedbank and DNB were ordered to pay 4.1 million euros and
2.5 million euros, respectively.
