Nelss turnover decreased by 43% in 2008

In 2008, the turnover of Latvian building supplies retail and lumber export company Nelss reached LV 54.84 million, which is 43% less than in the previous year, according to the government's official newspaper Latvijas Vestnesis.
In 2007, the company achieved LVL 97.58 million in turnover, writes LETA.
Losses for the company in 2008 reached LVL 14.43 million, compared to a profit of LVL 1.88 million in 2007.
Nelss holding company posted LVL 49.44 million in turnover last year, a 44% decrease on 2007; losses of the holding company last year was LVL 14.11 million.
Nelss is Latvian company, operating chain of building supplies retail shops, with outlets in Riga and Latvia's regions.
Nelss started operating in 1993. Business activity of the company includes lumber production, building materials retail, public catering and window manufacturing.
