Turnover of Apranga decreased by 20.9% in January-May

The January-May 2009 turnover of the readymade apparel retail trade group Apranga totalled 155.6 million litas (44.87 million euros) with VAT, a decrease of 20.9% year-on-year.
In May alone, the group's turnover stood at 30.8 million litas (8.88 million euros), a decrease of 14.6% compared to the same month last year, informs ELTA/LETA.
In May this year compared to the same month of 2008, the turnover of Apranga group shrank 11.9% in Lithuania, 24.1% – in Latvia and 6.8% – in Estonia.
Currently, Apranga group manages a chain of 118 stores in the Baltic States: 78 in Lithuania, 31 in Latvia and 9 in Estonia.
