The management board of Rimi retail chain in Estonia decided to return Estonian pork and veal to its Rimi and Säästumarket stores this week already, writes LETA/National Broadcasting.

At the press conference in Tallinn on Monday, the managing director of Rimi Eesti Food AS Christer Östholm stated that pork and veal by Estonian producers will be sold again in Rimi stores from this Thursday already, before concluding contracts with the producers.

Östholm admitted that the enterprise made a mistake by giving up on raw meat produced in Estonia. He explained that Rimi’s previous decision was excessively based on the price/quality ratio.
