Henkel Makroflex moves production from Finland to Estonian Pärnu

Construction foams and silicones producer Henkel Makroflex closed its plant in Oitti, Finland and moves all of its production to the South West Estonian resort town Pärnu, LETA/Postimees Online reports.
Makroflex’s Pärnu plant will thus experience a growth of production volumes by a half and creation of more than 20 new jobs.
Henkel Makroflex AS manager Sirje Aal said that after the reorganisation, the Pärnu plant will produce more than 300 different products for nearly 40 markets.
“We expect the current year to post a more than 50% growth as compared to last year and hope to exceed the level of one billion in turnover,” said Aal.
Henkel Makroflex AS is a company created in Finland that has experiences of 30 years.
The company’s revenues last year were 716 mln kroons and net profit 101 mln kroons.
