Rakvere Lihakombinaat’s market share grew to an estimated one third of the entire market of meat products and the enterprise continued firmly as the market leader in its segment.

The company’s market share grew in the categories of cooked sausages, minced products, wiener sausages, grilled sausages, marinated meat, hams and smoked (hard) sausages.

“Times and circumstances may change, but Rakvere’s cooked sausages are still the most preferred meat products among consumers,” said marketing director of the meat processing enterprise Liina Jaanson. According to her, the recent retail survey by AC Nielsen demonstrated that 5 best-selling cooked sausages in Estonia were all produced by Rakvere Lihakombinaat.

AS Rakvere Lihakombinaat is the biggest meat processing industry in Estonia. The group also includes the animal husbandry enterprise AS Ekseko, Rigas Miesnieks in Latvia and Klaipedos Maisto Mesos Produktai in Lithuania.
