Fenikss gambling halls earned LVL 22.65 million in 2007

Alfor Ltd., the owner of the gaming halls "Fenikss", in 2007 earned LVL 22.65 million in profit, data from the Register of Enterprises' company Lursoft revealed.

In 2006, the company earned LVL 15.9 million in profit, informs LETA.

 

Last year, Alfor achieved LVL 60.23 million in turnover, which is LVL 18 million more than in 2006, when the company achieved LVL 42.1 million in turnover.

 

The company's gaming halls Fenikss first opened their doors in 2000, and since then the company has become Latvia's number one market leader in gaming halls.

 

The company has more than 120 gaming halls all over the country, and employs more than 900 people.

 

„Fenikss” owns licenses for over 3,000 slot machines.

 

Alfor is a Latvian-Austrian joint venture. The chairman of the company's board, Janis Zuzans, entered the gaming business 10 years ago. Zuzans was once co-owner of the joint stock company Admiralu klubs. Later he formed Alfor, which also owns the gaming centers "Kazino Latvija".
