Eesti Loto: "Viking Lotto" system to expand to Latvia and Lithuania

Print versionThe State-owned lottery enterprise Eesti Loto is organizing a meeting of the board of directors of the Viking Lotto system in Tallinn, writes LETA/Postimees Online. On Thursday the directors decided that Lithuania and Latvia would join the "Viking Lotto" system.

According to Eesti Loto, this will mean even bigger jackpots for Estonian lottery players.
CEO of Eesti Loto Heiki Kranich stated that the exact time for Latvia’s and Lithuania’s accession to the system will be determined after the "Viking Lotto" security committee will have approved of the lottery enterprises’ compliance with all standards on carrying out the draws and security measures.
Currently there are six countries included in the Viking Lotto system: Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Iceland and Estonia.
