At the House of Journalists in Moscow, the International Club of the Russian Union of Journalists organized a presentation, which was attended by Lithuanian and Russian culture figures: director Rimas Tuminas, composer Faustas Latënas, actor Petras Venclovas, journalists, students of the Moscow Conservatory, and artists from both countries. The Vice-Minister welcomed the participants of the presentation.

The first volume of the culture magazine "Santara-Soglasye" in the Russian language was published in December 2010 on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the Lithuanian-Russian diplomatic relations. This volume of the magazine presents the concept of the Lithuanian-Russian trust forum, which is now being established. In Lithuania, the culture magazine "Santara" was first published two decades ago. It has continued the tradition of its predecessor – the "Santara" weekly in Moscow and Petrograd. This weekly was published by Lithuania's progressive intellectuals, graduates and students of the then Russian academic institutions. Diplomat and writer Jurgis Baltrusaitis was among them. With the support of the Lithuanian and Russian intellectual society, "Santara" was determined to follow the cultural traditions of the previous century, which were practiced by Mikalojus Konstantinas Ciurlionis, Lev Karsavin, Mstislav Dobuzhinsky, Anton Chekhov, Vladimir Toporov and other prominent artists, scientists and diplomats. The Lithuanian-Russian trust forum should become a public platform for the development of bilateral relations, friends' network and exchange of information. Culture, academia and business representatives from both countries would participate in the activities of the forum. These activities could include round table discussions, joint publications and exhibitions.

During the visit to Moscow, the Vice-Minister met with Lilia Shevtsova, an analyst of Moscow's Carnegie Centre, and Lithuanian director Tuminas at the premiere performance of the Yevgeny Vakhtangov State Academic Theater.
