Bavarian beer garden to open in Riga's Old Town

On April 29, the bar will be open from 2 p.m., beer will be available at half-price the first three days between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., writes LETA.
Starting from April 30, the bar will be open each day from 10 a.m. Also on April 30, the opening of the beer garden will be celebrated at 6 p.m. with live music, a number of surprises and special guests. The traditional beer keg opening ceremony will start at 6:30 p.m.
May 1, visitors will be served real Bavarian breakfast – bratwurst and pretzels, live music is also on the program.
Reho notes that the beer garden will be a place for Rigans and guests of the city to enjoy the atmosphere of a genuine Bavarian pub in the very heart of Riga's Old Town. The opening ceremony will feature the best of Bavarian beer drinking traditions; representatives from the German Embassy in Riga will also participate in the ceremony.
