The Tallinn Administrative Court decided on Friday to not satisfy the complaint state-owned lottery organiser Eesti Loto had submitted against Estonian Consumer Protection Board’s injunction to stop publishing the forecast size of lottery winnings, LETA/National Broadcasting reports.

The Consumer Protection Board estimated that advertising the forecast size of the main victory of the next Viking Loto and Bingo Loto game is a forbidden action like any other gambling advertisement. The board issued the injunction on June 8 and the lottery organiser disputed it in court.
Eesti Loto has regularly announced the forecast sizes of winnings of its lottery games in radio, TV, web and ticket sales venues. Eesti Loto can appeal the decision in 30 days.
