Altia Estonia increased production by 60% in 6 months

Alcohol producer and importer Altia Eesti AS increased its production by 60% in the first half of this year year-on-year, reaching nearly 2 million litres, Delfi reports.

Altia Eesti AS board member and Altia Baltics director Kristel Mets said that in domestic consumption, consumers are ready to try new products. Quality and familiarity of products is also becoming important. Consumers again visit restaurants and nightclubs and spend on entertainment. In the export direction, the company increased sales in the Finnish Alko chain and in Latvia.

 

The sales turnover of the company was 17 million euros, 53% more than at the same time last year. The company sold altogether over 2.7 million litres of alcoholic beverages. Alcohol production forms 69% an import 31% of the activities, LETA reported.
