Over the first two quarters of the year 2008, the company Ragutis exported 168,000 liters of Fizz cider to Great Britain, 2.5 times more compared to January-June 2007. As of October 2008, cider is offered in glass bottles specially for this country.

The company"s exports to Great Britain over the first eight months of this year totalled 184,700 liters, twice more year-on-year. According to the company"s representatives, this growth resulted from the specifics of the cider market in Great Britain and consolidated relations with clients.

"The main reason for the growth of exports to this country is the specifics of the cider market in Great Britain. Here traditionally sour and dry apple and pear cider is on offer, while we present greater variety of tastes, which is a novelty on the market and demand is growing," said ELTA Ragutis CEO Vytautas Meistas.

Ragutis also exports products to Ireland, Spain, Kaliningrad district and Romania.
