Danuta Pavilenene, BC, Vilnius, 22.11.2012.Print version
Representatives of a spirits production company group Alita on November 20, 2012, received a notice from the Commercial Court of Belgrade (Serbia) stating that the Serbian Privatization Agency has submitted an appeal against the judgment of the Commercial Court of Belgrade dated September 10, 2012, Alita said in a statement.

The judgement was received by Alita on November 2, 2012, which stated that the company's request was satisfied and the Partial award including the Company as respondent in an arbitration case, adopted by the Foreign Trade Court of Arbitration at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce on November 15, 2011, was set-aside, informs LETA/ELTA.

The company previously has already informed that on November 15, 2011, Serbian Arbitration Court adopted the Partial award whereby it included Alita as a third respondent in a case, initiated by the Serbian Privatisation Agency against AB ALT Investicijos and United Nordic Beverages AB with a claim of 68,347,168 euros. The company did not agree with the Partial award and held that the Serbian arbitration court does not have the jurisdiction to deal with the disputes against the company and had for this reason brought a request to the Commercial Court of Belgrade (Serbia) to set-aside the Partial award.
