LM Segal's assets to remain frozen

BC, Riga, 30.08.2013.Print version
A Riga court yesterday ruled against overturning a previous court decision whereby Liepajas metalurgs (LM) shareholder Ilya Segal's property and assets, including his shares in LM, were confiscated, in the dispute with the Gesil Limited company, informs LETA.

Counsel for Gesil, Pavels Rebenoks, had pointed out that Segal had caused losses for the company at LVL 1.4 million.

Segal has been a leading player in the ongoing saga at LM, along with Sergei Zaharyin, with many blaming their machinations for the metallurgical plant's ruin.
