Several board members of Jurmala municipal companies fired

Print versionThe Jurmala City Council has reduced the number of board members in Jurmala municipal companies.

Juris Hlevickis, who was the mayor of Jurmala from 2003 to 2005 and served a prison sentence for bribe-giving, has been fired as well, the Jurmala City Council informed LETA.
Jurmala Mayor Gatis Truksnis has decided that the Jurmala City Council will have only one board member in the smallest municipal companies, two or three board members in the largest municipal companies.
Therefore the number of board members has been reduced in three municipal companies, including Jurmalas slimnica, firing Hlevicskis. One board member in Jurmalas siltums Raimonds Kapostins also fired.
