Maxima Group, UAB announced that the group will coordinate assistance to victims of the tragedy in Riga Zolitude supermarket, it will also handle communications with all institutions and provide information to the public.
As reported, 54 people died and dozens were injured after Maxima supermarket roof collapsed in Riga on 21 November. This is the worst tragedy in the history of independent Latvia.
Maxima Group, UAB shareholders fired Gintaras Jasinskas, Head of Maxima Latvia, for inappropriately expressed opinion in the sorrow and difficult time for Latvia.
