PM invited Italy's companies to more actively engage in the investment projects in Lithuania

On January 27, Lithuania's Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevicius met with the representatives of the Italian-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce, informs LETA/ELTA.

Butkevicius and the representatives of the chamber discussed the partnership relations, the businessmen cooperation and the attraction of the investments. Butkevicius rejoiced at the successful economic cooperation; however, the head of the Government highlighted that it could be even more intensive.

 

"I am glad that I can see that the scale of the bilateral trade between Lithuania and Italy is growing. However, we should concentrate our efforts, so that even better results would be achieved. I would like to invite the Italy's companies to more actively engage in the investment projects in Lithuania," said Butkevicius.

 

The head of the Government discussed the Lithuania's participation in the exhibition EXPO 2015 hosted by Italy and wished success in organizing the event.
