"The number of tourists in Latvia increased 5-7% last year, basically
on account of tourists from Western Europe. This positive trend provides a
special impetus for continuous development of the tourism industry, including
hotels, and for the bank to launch cooperation with new players in the
industry,” said DNB Banka's Vice
President Lauris Macijevskis.
PK Hotels is a hotel chain
comprising three hotels situated in Tallinn (Estonia), Riga (Latvia) and Bad
Kreuznach (Germany).
PK Hotels is part of the
Estonian real estate group Pro Kapital Grupp.
Sisne Invest Riga was registered in Latvia in July 2017, and is fully owned by Estonia's Sisne Invest Latvia, according to
Firmas.lv business information website.
In terms of assets at the end of June 2017, DNB Banka was the seventh largest bank in Latvia, according to the
data of the Latvian Association of Commercial Banks.
