Apartment prices in Estonia fall by 3.5% in October

The weighted average price of a square metre of apartment space in Estonian towns fell by 3.5% in October, LETA/Postimees Online reports.

The Pindi Index fell by 3.5% in October as compared to September as the weighted average price of a square meter of flats in the 17 bigger Estonian cities and towns was 836 EUR. The revised September figure was 867 EUR per square metre.

 

The Pindi Index reflects the weighted average of the real estate transactions carried out in 17 larger Estonian cities. While in September, 1,086 transactions were carried out with flats in 17 larger Estonian cities, in October the activity level in transactions was 1,094.

 

The price index compiled by Pindi Kinnisvara takes into account the weighted average price of a square metre of purchase and sale contracts where the objects are flat ownerships in all county centres as well as in the cities of Kohtla-Järve and Narva.
