A restaurant, located in the luxury hotel The Three Sisters in Tallinn Old Town qualifies for a Michelin star, BBN/LETA quotes Äripäev.

Tõnis Siigur, who took over as the chef of the hotel restaurant in January, said that the Michelin star can be achieved only if all staff work for this purpose, starting from the owner and ending with the cleaning ladies.

Siigur noted that he remained in the kitchen until the last customer has left the restaurant.

"This is the only way to get the star," the chief of the restaurant said.

Hotel manager Sebastian Kraemer said that the restaurant will be renovated in January.

"We plan to modernize our kitchen, renovate the restaurant and change its concept. The new menu will be ready in February and we will then announce the name for the restaurant," Kraemer noted.

Before joining The Three Sisters, Siigur won three times the Estonian Silver Spoon Award for the best restaurant and in 2007 won the Best Chef Award.

The Three Sisters, as is said on its site, is the only Baltics' boutique hotel that is a member of the prestigious Design Hotels group.
