The second Baltic Tour travel campaign is launched

Baltic Tour will provide Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania with a chance to introduce 12 tourism sites to the inhabitants of neighbouring countries. The keyword connecting the 36 destinations is diversity – starting with churches and castles and ending with hiking trails intended for active tourists. The tourism sites have been selected from various regions of the countries and all participants can select a route that best suits them for passing through all destinations.
“The travel marathon offers entertainment for different tastes, which is why we expect various types of holidaymakers to discover Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania – both younger and older, smaller and larger groups,” said Mutso.
If last year, participants in the campaign collected stamps from target destinations in their travel pass, then this time, when passing through the destinations of the Baltic Tour, the participants must find the view indicated on the information map and take a picture of themselves with the same object. The photos must be uploaded to the web page of the campaign at www.greatbaltic.eu or sent, in low resolution, to [email protected]. The grand prize is a weekend for two in any European capital, flown to by Estonian Air; the neighbouring country prize for Estonian travellers is a weekend for two in Riga, with the support of Air Baltic. Interim prizes will also be raffled and participants will receive price discounts at the tourism sites of the travel marathon.
Special information media have been created for the trips – campaign maps, location maps and summaries of destinations. Additional information available on the campaign web page www.greatbaltic.eu.
