Lithuania's Klasco to pay out EUR 3.5 mln as dividends
BC, Vilnius, 24.03.2016.Print version
Klaipedos Juru Kroviniu Kompanija (Klaipeda Stevedoring Company, or Klasco), which is part of Achemos Grupe (Achema Group), will distribute 3 million euros as dividends to shareholders, or 0.238 euros per share, after posting a pretax profit of 5.7 million euros for 2015, informs LETA/BNS.
The company's operating revenue came in at 44.8 million euros last year, almost unchanged from 44.4 million euros in 2014.
"Last year was difficult due to low transit cargo traffic in the East-West trade corridor and even higher services competition both in the regional market and within the port of Klaipeda," Klasco CEO Audrius Pauza said in a press release on Thursday.
The total volume of cargo handled by the company remained almost unchanged last year from the previous year at 12.2 million tons.
Achemos Grupe, one of Lithuania's largest business conglomerates, holds a 93.5% stake in Klasco.
